Good morning y’all,

Here it is. My gorgeous red hair. Sorry I wasn’t able to get pictures of the process. Red hair dye goes everywhere! Just refer to my previous post about me dying my hair. ūüôā

I used a mixture of L’Oreal HiColor H8 Red Fire and H10 Copper Red all over my head. When I first mixed this it was an oompa loompa orange and I almost freaked out, but I just took a deep breath and started applying and I could see the color getting darker as it developed. I don’t recommend sitting cross legged like I did to apply red hair dye to your head because you get it everywhere….and I really mean everywhere. I left it in for 20ish minutes and then rinsed it out until the water ran clear. I shampooed and then put in Ion Color Defense After-Color Sealer. I followed with conditioner.

Sadly, some of my hair didn’t pick up the color (grrr!) so I have some blonde streaks but I’m embracing my hairs wild side and just going with it. It actually looks kinda cool. I tried to get some good lighting so you could tell the real color of my hair.

I started singing Part of Your World last night. What can I say? I felt like a mermaid. I really love the color of my hair. It’s not too orangey and really compliments my fair skin-tone. Side note, my hair is not actually that long it is in two ponytails!

What do you think?
