20 Books You Have To Read Before You’re 20

I’ve read some of these. Guess I’ve got my summer reading cut out for me. What have you guys read? Any recommendations?

  2. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall – Anne Brontë
    • Woman leaves her abusive husband. Unlike her sister’s novel, this includes alcohol, sex and decadence
  3. The Kite Runner – Khaled Hosseini
    • I learned more about the unfairness of friendship and of life from this book than I had in the 16 years of life I had under my belt when I first read this
  4. The Great Gatsby – F Scott Fitzgerald
    • Newly wealthy millionaire moves house to stalk his now married ex girlfriend
  5. To Kill A Mockingbird – Harper Lee
    • Dad tries to teach kids about prejudice in prejudiced 1930s Southern America
  6. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time – Mark Haddon
    • One of the only children’s novels that explores social disability and mental illness in an honest and wonderfully uncondescending way
